Course Overview
Building soil – Building community – Building resilience

A Permaculture Design Course often leaves students thirsty for more knowledge and/or feeling overwhelmed due to a lack of practical experience or information overload. PDC's (Permaculture Design Courses) in their traditional format can be very information dense, and thus traditional learning styles often fall short of giving students a concrete understanding of the key concepts and methodologies of regenerative agriculture and Permaculture Design. Our Online Permaculture Design Masterclass is designed for people who want to dive deeper into the intricacies of the multifaceted ecological design world. At the end of this one year course, you will feel confident enough to get your hands dirty and start designing and implementing your own projects.

Our international faculty of educators (see details below) will cover several key topics of design, and our group will be ready to support you during your projects all throughout the year.

Program & Schedule
Classes will be held via Zoom every Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm CET.
Our Online Permaculture Design Masterclass, will be divided into 6 modules:

During this module we will cover the standard curriculum of an Online Permaculture Design Course. At the end of the module and upon submission of your Final Design Project you will receive a Permaculture Design Certificate.
MODULE 6: ONLINE SOCIAL PERMACULTURE COURSE
Facilitated by Marco Matera

Topics will include: Non-violent Communication, The work that reconnects, Decision Making, Conflict Resolution, Sociocracy, Project Management. This module will include a final design exercise.

MODULE 7: ONLINE PERSONAL PERMACULTURE COURSE

Themes will include: Permaculture principles applied to the individual, Finding your life mission, Setting clear visions and intentions, Learning how to deal with fear, Living a life in service. This module will include a final design exercise.

MODULE 8: ONLINE URBAN PERMACULTURE COURSE
Facilitated by Patrick Vernuccio
This module will bring you through the hows and whys of urban permaculture. As built environments are areas where most people live as well as the main sources of pollution, they present a great potential for the development of revolutionary solutions! During this module you will learn about food production, resource management and alternative social movements linked to the built environment.

MODULE 9: SELF-PACED PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
This module is optional and will allow each student to have the time to develop three designs of choice and be able to receive support from the facilitators. Each student will be assigned one facilitator and will receive one mentoring session a month for each of the projects he/she decides to develop. Projects can be land-based, for personal development or social projects and they can include the implementation part or be limited to the theoretical design.

Understanding the Principles and Ethics, then really getting deep into the design elements and application, helped me better understand how everything is interconnected. All of the visuals, PowerPoints, drawings, links to videos and real life applications/examples were really helpful, as I am a visual learner.

"My husband and I had our consultation with Benson for our property and it was SO GREAT. We are so excited about all the opportunities we have to grow food and restore the land and Benson's knowledge and experience has just taken our casual ideas about fruit trees and veggie gardens and built it into a whole plan for a homestead haven. Cannot possibly recommend enough
